Rocky Boiman is the founder and owner of Rocky Boiman Football Academy.
Born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati, he began his football playing days at the age of seven for the Bridgetown Little Highlanders, as a running back. After two years of middle school ball for St. James in White Oak, he enrolled at St. Xavier High School where he enjoyed an illustrious career that included being a three year letter winner and team captain. He finished his career with the Bombers, with 330 tackles, eleven interceptions, and 15 passes defended. His honors included Southwest Ohio Player of the Year, GCL Player of the Year, All City Player of the Year, and All State Player of the Year runner-up. He also played in the Ohio North-South all-star game and the Big 33 Ohio vs Pennsylvania all-star game. From high school, he went on to the University of Notre Dame where he became a three year starter totaling 144 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 5 FR and 3 FF. He was named pre-season all American in 2001 and also had the honor of team captain in his senior year. Rocky graduated from Notre Dame in four years with a Pre-Med/Psychology degree. In 2002, Rocky's NFL career began as a fourth round pick of the Tennessee Titans. He played four years with the Titans, then went on to play 2 years with the Indianapolis Colts where in 2006 he was a key contributor on a Colts team that went on to win Super Bowl XLI. He played with the Chiefs as a starter and defensive captain in 2008. He is currently a free agent. In his 8 year NFL career, he has gained tremendous respect from many around the League as a special teams standout, reserve, and as a starting linebacker. With over a hundred NFL games with 30 starts under his belt, his career stats include 253 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 5 career INTs. NFL individual honors include Oilers/Titans single season franchise record for special teams tackles with 28, and was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week 9/28/03.
